Choosing a unique location for your senior pictures is a great way to stand out from the crowd.
Usually, to dial into a unique location for your senior session, we want to schedule a free consultation. Meeting in person allows me to get to know my clients, and allows us to brainstorm location options that are a good fit for their individual personalities. Sometimes kids come in knowing they want an urban vibe. Other times, kids really like nature and fields. Sometimes people have no idea and want to view samples to see what resonates. We can discuss a wide range of options and ideas once we find the right direction to start exploring.
Whether you are a theater kid or athlete; a musician or debater; all or none of the above, choosing a unique location for your senior pictures really customizes your session. It’s part of the process I always look forward to figuring out collaboratively with my clients.
In the following example, Ellie from Eagan and her mom had a strong idea of where they wanted to photograph. I hadn’t shot there before so it was a lot of fun to make her senior portraits unique. Her mom chose a package with a series of three framed and matted 11x14s. When picking up she commented, “these have exceeded my expectations.” Always my goal.
