Recently I received an email that said, “I think you’re in the cute little house that I drive by every day on my way to work in downtown St Paul.” It was from Julie Dotas. My St. Paul studio is in a converted brick house on South Robert Street which is a major commercial thoroughfare in the area. It is really cute. So was Mason, Julie’s six month old son. We had a great conversation before the session about photographing them together and came up with the idea of using her husband’s Harley jacket in the photography and bringing some special blankets to personalize his portraits. The props looked great and the session turned out fabulous.
