The day started with brunch at Cassie and Rich’s house. We mixed up ingredients for omelets in freezer bags then boiled them for 13 minutes — it was surprisingly good. Eventually we walked over the Wabasha Bridge to watch the parade. A few of us were bold and joined the parade at the very end to wave at all the people from the middle of the street.
