Madeline’s mom and dad came in for a maternity session about a year ago and signed up for the Baby Steps Series. She just turned one year old and completed her fourth of four sessions. Its hard to believe she was resting on her dad’s forearm just a year ago.

I decided to have a birthday cake ready for her at the end of the shoot to smash into. Its always interesting to see what the kids do with the cake. Often times they don’t really know what to do and we have to break it apart for them before they start tasting it and getting it all over. She figured it out with a little help and we got great one-year images.
